Andaman And Nicobar

Mandatory for Travellers

Quarantine and Testing Rules

  1. Thermal screening will be done for all travellers.
  2. Vaccinated travellers can enter Andaman with a final COVID vaccination certificate (both doses done) after completing 15 days from receipt of the 2nd dose. Negative RT-PCR test report and on-arrival test procedures are NOT required for fully vaccinated travellers to enter Andaman.
  3. Non-Vaccinated travellers entering the state must carry a negative RT-PCR test report with a sample taken within 48 hours before arrival. RT-PCR test timeline starts from the swab collection time. Travellers travelling to the state might not be allowed to board their flights if they are not carrying a valid test report.
  4. Non- vaccinated travellers will be administered for RT-PCR test on arrival. They will have to quarantine till the test result come out. If any passenger tests positive, he/she will be sent for institutional quarantine for further treatment.
  5. Mandatory 7-day home quarantine for all travellers even if the test of the result conducted on arrival is negative. 
  6. For Vistara flights only: Travellers must collect their checked-in baggage from the testing center in place of the arrival hall.
  7. Travellers with an international travel history in the past 30 days, and travellers with no vaccination/partial vaccination status must undergo an RT-PCR test upon arrival. Travellers must strictly follow isolation norms till the time the test results are received. Travellers who test positive shall undergo state-laid quarantine protocol.  
  8. International travellers entering the state must check Government-issued guidelines on registration, quarantine and testing protocols.

Andhra Pradesh

Mandatory for Travellers

  1. All passengers must download the Aarogya Setu App.
  2. All passengers must register themselves on the Spandanawebsite.
  3. A lockdown is in effect at the moment, however, flight operations remain unaffected during this time.

Quarantine and Testing Rules

  1. Negative RT-PCR test report is NOT required to enter Andhra Pradesh.
  2. Thermal screening shall be done for all passengers.
  3. All asymptomatic travellers will be required to undergo home quarantine for 14 days
  4. International travellers arriving without the test or if the test validity is longer than 72 hours due to a long layover/transit must undergo institutional quarantine at their own cost. However, this is at the discretion of the state authorities.
  5. International travellers entering the state must check Government-issued guidelines on registration, quarantine and testing protocols here.

Assam

Vaccination/testing requirements:

Pre-departure test: Travellers carrying a vaccination certificate (with complete doses) and a negative RT-PCR certificate do not have to take an on-arrival test while entering Assam.

On-arrival test:

  1. Non-vaccinated/partially vaccinated/ symptomatic vaccinated travellers entering Assam shall mandatorily undergo self-paid RAT test on arrival.
  2. If the RAT test is positive, the traveller will have to undergo home isolation, move to a private hospital or a Government facility depending upon his/her medical condition.
  3. If the RAT test is negative, the traveller will have to undergo an RT-PCR test at the airport itself. The cost of the RT-PCR shall be paid by the traveller.
  4. Travellers will allowed to exit the airport once the sample/swab for the RT-PCR test has been collected and with the condition that they will remain under home quarantine until the result is declared.
  5. If the RT-PCR test is positive, the traveller will have to undergo home isolation, move to a private hospital or a Government facility depending upon his/her medical condition.
  6. If the RT-PCR test is negative, the traveller can continue with their onward journey. 
  7. Thermal screening will be done for all travellers.

Quarantine requirements:

  1. Mandatory home quarantine for 7 days on arrival for all travellers, even if the test of the result conducted upon arrival is negative. 
  2. Exemptions to the on-arrival test and quarantine is allowed for the following travellers, as long as they are asymptomatic:
  3. Residents of North-Eastern states other than Assam, who are arriving at any airport in Assam from outside the state and are travelling directly to any other North-Eastern state.
  4. All transit travellers travelling on Intra-Assam and Inter-North Eastern state routes.
  5. Government functionaries/officials or those travelling due to family bereavement or medical reasons are exempted from mandatory quarantine.

Bihar

Mandatory for Travellers

Quarantine and Testing Rules

Pre-Departure Test Rules:
  1. Negative RT-PCR test report is NOT required to enter other cities of Bihar except Darbhanga and Gaya.
  2. For Gaya: Travellers travelling to Gaya from any city/state/UT are required to be in possession of RT-PCR negative report from an ICMR accredited lab done within last 72hours. RT-PCR timeline starts from the swab collection time.
  3. For Darbhanga: All travellers entering Darbhanga from Mumbai and Chennai must carry a negative RT-PCR test report with a sample taken within 72 hours before arrival. RT-PCR Test timeline starts from the swab collection time.

On Arrival Test Rules:

  1. For Gaya - Travellers not in possession of negative RT PCR certificate shall be required to undergo RAT test upon arrival free of cost.
  2. Thermal screening is mandatory for all travellers upon arrival.
  3. Random RAT test on arrival for travellers arriving from other states.
  4. All arriving Passenger coming from States where COVID infection rate is high or cases of Delta Variant is reported, will have to undergo Rapid Antigen Test at Airport on arrival.
  5. However, all those passengers who have taken both doses of COVID vaccine or are carrying negative RT-PCR report generated within 72 hours of travel, will be exempted from testing on arrival.

International Travellers:

  1. Foreign travellers coming to Bihar through Patna Airport will have to undergo Rapid Antigen test upon Arrival at Airport. Some passengers will be randomly selected for collection of samples for RT-PCR test
  2. Airlines should ensure that information regarding international passengers traveling through their flight after landing at any international airport in India, should be given to the State Health Dept. team deployed at Patna Airport.
  3. International travellers arriving without the test or if the test validity is longer than 72 hours due to a long layover/transit must undergo institutional quarantine at their own cost. However, this is at the discretion of the state authorities.
  4. International travellers entering the state must check Government-issued guidelines on registration, quarantine and testing protocols here.


Chandigarh

Mandatory for Travellers

  1. All travellers must download the Aarogya Setu App and fill contact-tracing forms on arrival.
  2. They must register on COVA Punjab App before commencing their journey.


Quarantine and Testing Rules

  1. All travellers should undergo thermal screening.
  2. Vaccinated travellers can enter the state with a final COVID vaccination certificate (both doses done). No negative RT-PCR test report is required for fully vaccinated travellers to enter Chandigarh.
  3. Non-vaccinated travellers entering the state must carry a negative RT-PCR test report with a sample taken within 72 hours before arrival. RT-PCR Test timeline starts from the swab collection time.
  4. Travellers going to the state might not be allowed to board their flights if they are not carrying a valid test report/vaccination certificate.
  5. Children below the age of 10 years shall be exempted from pre-departure RT-PCR.
  6. International travellers arriving in Punjab must undergo RAT (Rapid Antigen Test) at the airport, in case they do not have a negative RT-PCR test report conducted within 72 hours before arrival. Thereafter, travellers must quarantine for the next 7 days.
  7. International travellers arriving without the test or if the test validity is longer than 72 hours due to a long layover/transit must undergo institutional quarantine at their own cost. However, this is at the discretion of the state authorities.
  8. International travellers entering the state must check Government-issued guidelines on registration, quarantine and testing protocols here.

Guidelines for Vaccinated Travellers:

  1. Vaccinated passengers can enter the state with a final COVID vaccination certificate (both doses done).

Guidelines for Non-vaccinated Travellers:

  1. Non-vaccinated passengers entering the state must carry a negative RT-PCR test report with a sample taken within 96 hours before arrival. RT-PCR Test timeline starts from the swab collection time.

Delhi

Mandatory for Travellers:

  1. It is mandatory to use face masks when out in public in Delhi (even if travelling solo or with people in a car).
  2. Must download and install the Aarogya Setu App.

Quarantine and Testing Rules:

Vaccination/testing requirements:

  1. Pre-departure test: Travellers do not have to carry a negative RT-PCR test report to enter Delhi.
  2. On-arrival test: Travellers arriving from states where there has been an increase in COVID cases might have to take a test on arrival (on random basis). They can exit the airport once sample is collected. Anyone found positive will be quarantined and treatment protocols will follow.
  3. Quarantine requirements: Home quarantine for 14 days on arrival. All constitutional and government functionaries are exempted from quarantine if asymptomatic.
  4. International travellers entering the state must check Government-issued guidelines on registration, quarantine and testing protocols.

Goa

Mandatory for Travellers

  1. It is mandatory to download the Aarogya Setu app before entering the state.
  2. To enter Casino - Only fully vaccinated travelers (both doses done) after completing 15 days from receipt of the 2nd dose or those who are carrying a negative RT-PCR report conducted not prior to 72 hours before the time of entry can enter casinos in Goa.

Quarantine and Testing Rules

  1. Vaccinated travellers can enter Goa with a final COVID vaccination certificate (both doses done) after completing 15 days from receipt of the 2nd dose. Negative RT-PCR test report is NOT required for fully vaccinated travelers to enter Goa.
  2. Non-vaccinated travellers entering Goa must carry a negative RT-PCR/TrueNAT/CBNAAT/RAT test report with a sample taken within 72 hours before arrival. RT-PCR/TrueNAT/CBNAAT/RAT timeline starts from the swab collection time.
  3. Travellers traveling to Goa might not be allowed to board their flights if they are not carrying a valid test report/vaccination certificate. Exemption:
  4. Travellers entering Goa for a medical emergency on the production of proof or coming in an ambulance.
  5. All persons entering Goa in goods vehicles making essential supplies however such vehicles shall not carry any passengers unconnected with the transportation of essential supplies


For passengers travelling from Kerala:

  1. All travellers entering Goa from Kerala must carry a negative RT-PCR test report with a sample taken within 72 hours before arrival. RT-PCR timeline starts from swab collection time.
  2. It is mandatory for all passengers to undergo home quarantine for 5 days and for all students/employees to undergo institutional quarantine for 5 days. On completion of quarantine they shall be required to undergo a RT-PCR test.

Exemptions:

  1. Constitutional functionaries, healthcare professionals, and their spouses.
  2. Children below 2 years.
  3. During emergencies such as death in the family, medical treatment etc.
Passengers in transit from and to Kerala via any mode of transport
International travellers arriving without the test or if the test validity is longer than 72 hours due to a long layover/transit must undergo institutional quarantine at their own cost. However, this is at the discretion of the state authorities.

International travellers entering the state must check Government-issued guidelines on registration, quarantine and testing protocols.

Gujarat

Mandatory for Travellers

  1. Download and update the Aarogya Setu app.
  2. Special Guidelines for those travelling to Surat: Please check the latest guidelines issued by Surat Municipal Corporation.
  3. International and domestic passengers arriving in Surat must fill and submit the 'Novel Corona Self-reporting Form'online and download the ‘SMC COVID-19 Tracker' app.


Quarantine and Testing Guidelines

  1. Vaccination/test requirements: All travellers coming from Maharashtra and Kerala must either carry a vaccination certificate (15 days must have passed since final dose) OR RT-PCR test with sample taken within 72 hours before arrival. If they exhibit any symptoms (cold/cough etc), they must take a self-paid RAT test on arrival. If RAT test is negative, they will have to take an RT-PCR test and then exit the airport. If test is positive, samples will be sent for genome sequencing and hospital isolation protocols will follow. Travellers from other states (except Maharashtra and Kerala) can travel without restrictions.Special rules only for SURAT: ALL travellers arriving in Surat from anywhere in India must either carry a vaccination certificate (15 days must have passed since final dose) OR RT-PCR test with sample taken within 72 hours before arrival. 
  2. Pre-registration or e-Pass requirements: Download the Aarogya Setu app. Surat travellers must fill the ‘Novel Corona Form’ on the Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC) website and also download the SMC app).
  3. Quarantine guidelines: None, as long as all tests are negative. If positive, local health authorities will dictate quarantine terms.
  4. International travellers entering the state must check Government-issued guidelines on registration, quarantine and testing protocols

Haryana

Mandatory for Travellers

  1. Download and update the Aarogya Setu App.

Quarantine and Testing Rules

  1. For Gurugram: As per the latest Haryana governmnEt directive (read here), only fully vaccinated travellers can check in to any hotel in the city/ explore the city of Gurugram.
  2. International travellers entering the state Haryana must check Government-issued guidelines on registration, quarantine and testing protocols.

Himachal Pradesh

Guidelines for Vaccinated Travellers:

  1. Vaccinated passengers can enter the state with a final COVID vaccination certificate (both doses done).

Guidelines for Non-vaccinated Travellers:

  1. Non-vaccinated passengers entering the state must carry a negative RT-PCR test report with a sample taken within 72 hours or RAT negative report not older than 24 hours before arrival. RT-PCR Test timeline starts from the swab collection time.

Important Information:

  1. International travellers arriving without the test or if the test validity is longer than 72 hours due to a long layover/transit must undergo institutional quarantine at their own cost. However, this is at the discretion of the state authorities.
  2. International travellers entering the state must check Government-issued guidelines on registration, quarantine and testing protocols here.

Pre-registration or app requirements:

  1. Travellers are required to install the Aarogya Setu App on their smartphones.
  2. Travellers with valid e-Pass, train or flight tickets are allowed to travel during lockdown.

Jammu and Kashmir

Mandatory check-list for passengers

  1. Travellers must download Aarogya Setu on their phones and add a valid phone number to the app, where they can be contacted at any time.

  3. All passengers are required to fill up the ICMR Health form on arrival.


Quarantine and Testing Rule

  1. Travellers can enter Jammu and Kashmir with a final COVID vaccination certificate (both doses done). Negative RT-PCR test report is not required for fully vaccinated travellers to enter Jammu and Kashmir.
  2. Non-vaccinated travellers entering Jammu and Kashmir must carry a negative RT-PCR test report with a sample taken within 72 hours before arrival. RT-PCR Test timeline starts from the swab collection time.
  3. Travellers travelling to the state might not be allowed to board their flights if they are not carrying a valid test report/vaccination certificate.
  4. Exception to above - Defense Personnel arriving to join duty.
  5. International travellers arriving without the test or if the test validity is longer than 72 hours due to a long layover/transit must undergo institutional quarantine at their own cost. However, this is at the discretion of the state authorities.
  6. International travellers entering the state must check Government-issued guidelines on registration, quarantine and testing protocols 

Jharkhand

Vaccination/testing requirements: Pre-departure test:

All travellers entering the state of Jharkhand must either be in possession of a final vaccination certificate (15 days should have passed since final dose) or carry a negative RT-PCR report with a sample taken within 72 hours before arrival. RT-PCR timeline starts from the swab collection time. Those in possession of final vaccination certificate (15 days should have passed since final dose) and are exempted from on arrival testing.

On arrival test: Travellers arriving without a negative RT-PCR report must undergo an RT-PCR test at the airport and fill up a self-declaration form. Mandatory thermal screening will be conducted for all travellers arriving from Maharashtra, Kerala & Telangana and symptomatic travellers will be tested for RT-PCR/TRUENAT and if found positive will be advised for home isolation.

Pre-registration or e-Pass requirements:

  1. Download and update the Aarogya Setu App.
  2. All travellers are required to register on the Government of Jharkhand website. 
  3. Travellers must undergo RTPCR test on arrival (free of cost) after submission and self-declaration through https://swaraksha.nic.in


Quarantine Requirements:

  1. All Travellers must undergo mandatory 7-day home quarantine upon arrival.
  2. Following travellers are exempted from mandatory 7-day home quarantine:
  3. Travellers having return tickets within 72 hours of arrival in Jharkhand.
  4. Airline Personnel
  5. Travellers passing through Jharkhand during interstate movements.
  6. Government of India officials on official duty.


International Traveller:

  1. International travellers arriving without the test or if the test validity is longer than 72 hours due to a long layover/transit must undergo institutional quarantine at their own cost. However, this is at the discretion of the state authorities.

Karnataka

Mandatory for Travellers:

Download and update the Aarogya Setu app.

Quarantine and Testing Rules:

  1. Pre-departure test:  Travellers arriving from Maharashtra and Kerala must carry a negative RT-PCR test, with sample taken 72 hours before arrival. Exemptions: Children below 2 years and those travelling for death-related emergencies/medical treatment do not have to take the test as long as they have proper documentation. Travellers from all states will have to undergo health screening at the airport. Anyone with COVID-19 symptoms will not be allowed to travel.
  2. All students arriving from Kerala must undergo mandatory 7 days of institutional quarantine before they start their studies. No quarantine for other travellers arriving in Karnataka.
  3. Pre-registration or e-Pass requirements: Must download the Aarogya Setu App
  4. International travellers entering the state must check Government-issued guidelines on registration, quarantine and testing protocols 

Kerala

Mandatory for Travellers

  1. Download and update the Aarogya Setu App.
  2. Must register on https://covid19jagratha.kerala.nic.in/ to obtain an e-pass.
  3. All passengers who intend to visit any other State or UT after entering Kerala must have an entry pass for Kerala and also the State or UT they intend to visit.
  4. A lockdown is in effect, however, flight operations remain unaffected during this time.


Quarantine and Testing Rules

  1. Vaccination/test requirements: Fully vaccinated travellers (both doses done) do not have to carry a negative RT-PCR test report as long as show no symptoms. However, if exhibiting symptoms (cough/cold etc), they must carry a negative RT-PCR test report, with sample taken within 72 hours before start of the journey. All non-vaccinated/partially vaccinated travellers must carry a negative RT-PCR test report, with sample taken within 72 hours before start of the journey. Special rules for KANNUR and CALICUT: ALL travellers must carry a negative RT-PCR test report (validity 72 hours), irrespective of vaccination status. Anyone without a valid test will have to take a self-paid test on arrival and remain in institutional or home quarantine till result is out.
  2. Pre-registration or e-Pass requirements: Register online on Kerala’s COVID-19 Jagratha portal and generate an e-Pass.
  3. Quarantine guidelines: All travellers must home quarantine for 14 days after arrival. Short-visit business travellers (visiting for 7 days or less) are exempted from quarantine as long as they register on Kerala’s Jagratha portal and get approval on exemption.
  4. International travellers entering the state must check Government-issued guidelines on registration, quarantine and testing protocols.

Ladakh

  1. Thermal screening of all passengers will be done.
  2. All asymptomatic passengers arriving in Ladakh will be exempted from quarantine if they are carrying a COVID-19 negative certificate by an ICMR-authorized lab issued within 48 hours from arrival.
  3. All other passengers will have to undergo mandatory home quarantine for 7 days. Workers are advised to reach Ladakh through a contractor(s) or labor agencies and will be exempted from quarantine if they also produce a COVID-19 negative certificate issued by an ICMR-authorized laboratory within 48 hours from arrival. are taking.
  4. If they do not keep this report, they will have to undergo 7 days of institutional quarantine followed by a COVID-19 test.
  5. Personal Defense and Central Armed Police are exempted from the above provisions.

Madhya Pradesh

Guidelines for Vaccinated Travellers:

  1. Vaccinated passengers can enter Madhya Pradesh with a final COVID vaccination certificate (both doses done) after completing 15 days from receipt of the 2nd dose.

Guidelines for Non-vaccinated Travellers:

  1. Non-vaccinated passengers entering Madhya Pradesh must carry a negative RT-PCR test report with a sample taken within 72 hours before arrival. RT-PCR timeline starts from the swab collection time.
  2. Passengers traveling to Madhya Pradesh might not be allowed to board their flights if they are not carrying a valid test report/vaccination certificate.


Important Information:

  1. All passengers entering the state from Maharashtra must carry a negative RT-PCR test report with a sample taken within 72 hours before arrival. RT-PCR Test timeline starts from the swab collection time.
  2. Passengers traveling to the state might not be allowed to board their flights if they are not carrying a valid test report.
  3. All passengers arriving at Jabalpur from the states of Delhi and Maharashtra shall mandatorily undergo Covid-19 testing at arrival.
  4. International travellers arriving without the test or if the test validity is longer than 72 hours due to a long layover/transit must undergo institutional quarantine at their own cost. However, this is at the discretion of the state authorities.
  5. International travellers entering the state must check Government-issued guidelines on registration, quarantine and testing protocols here.

Pre-registration or app requirements:

  1. Travellers are required to install the Aarogya Setu App on their smartphones.
  2. Those travelling to Indore must install the Indore 311 App, self-register themselves before arrival and consistently update their health status for 14 days.

Maharashtra

Mandatory for Travellers

  1. They must download and update the Aarogya Setu App.
  2. Lockdown has been lifted with some restrictions. Flight operations remain unaffected. Please check the latest state guidelines before travelling.

Quarantine and Testing Rules

  1. Thermal screening will be done for all passengers.
  2. Vaccinated passengers can enter Maharashtra with a final COVID vaccination certificate (both doses done). Negative RT-PCR test report is not required for fully vaccinated travellers to enter Maharashtra.
  3. Non-vaccinated passengers entering Maharashtra must carry a negative RT-PCR test report with a sample taken within 72 hours before arrival. RT-PCR Test timeline starts from the swab collection time.
  4. Passengers travelling to the state might not be allowed to board their flights if they are not carrying a valid test report/vaccination certificate.


Guidelines for international travellers entering Maharashtra:

  1. Submit a self-declaration form on the Air Suvidha website before travelling and include the last 14 days of their travel history.
  2. Upload a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR report on the same website. This test should have been conducted within 72 hours before boarding.
  3. Submit a signed declaration with respect to authenticity of the report. Travellers will be liable for criminal prosecution if they give incorrect information regarding their health and travel status.
  4. Additional guidelines for travellers coming from South Africa, Botswana and Zimbabwe: They must undergo mandatory 7 days of institutional quarantine. They must take an RT-PCR test on day 1 of arrival and another on day 7 of quarantine. If found positive, they will be transferred to a hospital. If negative, they must undergo further 7 days of home quarantine.
  5. Additional Guidelines for travellers coming from Europe (all countries), United Kingdom, Brazil, Bangladesh, China, Mauritius, New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong and Israel: They must take a test on arrival and wait at the airport for the result. If negative, they can exit the airport and home quarantine for 7 days and take another test on day 8.
  6. For travellers coming from all other countries, there might be random testing done at the airport. If they test negative, they can exit the airport and self-monitor their health for 14 days.
  7. If any traveller is taking a connecting flight to any other place in India (without leaving the airport) they must take a test at the first airport of arrival in Maharashtra. If negative, they can proceed for connecting flight. 
  8. International travellers entering the state must check Government-issued guidelines on registration, quarantine and testing protocols.

Manipur

Guidelines for Vaccinated Travellers:

  1. Vaccinated passengers can enter Manipur with a final COVID vaccination certificate (both doses done) after completing 15 days from receipt of the 2nd dose.

Guidelines for Non-vaccinated Travellers:

  1. Non-vaccinated passengers entering Manipur must carry a negative RT-PCR/TrueNAT/CBNAAT/ Rapid Antigen test report with a sample taken within 72 hours before arrival. RT-PCR/TrueNAT/CBNAAT/Rapid Antigen Test timeline starts from the swab collection time.


Important Information:

Passengers originating from Manipur travelling in an emergency situation are exempted from carrying a COVID-19 negative report at the time of entry as a special case and will have to undergo testing upon arrival. This shall only be allowed with prior information of such emergency travel communicated to the COVID Control Room helpline number 1800-345- 3818 for necessary arrangements to be made.

International travellers arriving without the test or if the test validity is longer than 72 hours due to a long layover/transit must undergo institutional quarantine at their own cost. However, this is at the discretion of the state authorities.

Meghalaya

Guidelines for Vaccinated Travellers:

Vaccinated passengers can enter Meghalaya with a final COVID vaccination certificate (both doses done).

Guidelines for Non-vaccinated Travellers:

Non-vaccinated passengers entering Meghalaya must carry a negative RT-PCR test report with a sample taken within 72 hours before arrival. RT-PCR Test timeline starts from the swab collection time.

Important Information:

  1. Exception to carry negative COVID certificate:
  2. Children below 10 years of age.
  3. Essential service providers to the State as certified by Home (Political) Department, Government of Meghalaya shall be exempted from testing on arrival on production of RAT negative certificate issued within 48 hours from arrival into the state from an ICMR recognized laboratory or on production of final vaccination certificate i.e., two doses complete.

Mizoram

Guidelines for Vaccinated Travellers:

Vaccinated passengers can enter Mizoram with a final COVID vaccination certificate (both doses done) after completing 15 days from receipt of the 2nd dose.

Guidelines for Non-vaccinated Travellers:

All passengers entering Mizoram must carry a negative RT-PCR test report with a sample taken within 72 hours before arrival. RT-PCR Test timeline starts from the sample collection time. Non- vaccinated passengers will be administered a RAT test on arrival.

Important Information:

Non- vaccinated passengers will be administered a RAT test on arrival and will have to quarantine until the test result comes out. If any passenger tests positive, he/she will be sent for institutional quarantine for further treatment.

Exception

Passengers who are in possession of Certificate of discharge from Home Isolation or COVID care facility issued by the competent authority within 3 months prior to the date of entry into the state do not need RT-PCR/Vaccination certificate to enter Mizoram.

Non-vaccinated passengers will be tested on-arrival for RAT test and will have to quarantine in a facility appointed by the Government or Deputy Commissioner and shall undergo RT-PCR/TrueNAT test after 5 days. If any passenger tests positive, he/she will be sent for institutional quarantine for further treatment. This is not applicable to the passengers possessing Certificate of Discharge mentioned above.

International travellers arriving without the test or if the test validity is longer than 72 hours due to a long layover/transit must undergo institutional quarantine at their own cost. However, this is at the discretion of the state authorities.

Nagaland

Guidelines for Vaccinated Travellers:

Vaccinated passengers can enter Nagaland with a final COVID vaccination certificate (both doses done) or after 15 days of receiving the first dose.


Guidelines for Non-vaccinated Travellers:

Non-vaccinated passengers entering Nagaland must carry a negative RT-PCR/TrueNAT/CBNAAT test report with a sample taken within 72 hours before arrival. RT-PCR Test timeline starts from the swab collection time.

Important Information:


  1. All passengers arriving into the state of Nagaland shall be required to undergo 7 days of institutional quarantine followed by 14 days of home quarantine, even after receiving 1 dose of vaccine.
  2. Exception: Person above the age of 60 years, children & parents of children 10 years & below, pregnant women & accompanying spouse.
  3. Residents of any of the North Eastern States other than Nagaland transiting or directly travelling onwards to any other North Eastern State shall mandatorily follow the above-mentioned guidelines, and also satisfy arrival guidelines of their final destination.
  4. International travellers arriving without the test or if the test validity is longer than 72 hours due to a long layover/transit must undergo institutional quarantine at their own cost. However, this is at the discretion of the state authorities.

Odisha

Guidelines for Vaccinated Travellers:
Vaccinated passengers can enter Odisha with a final COVID vaccination certificate (both doses done).

Guidelines for Non-vaccinated Travellers:

Non-vaccinated passengers entering Odisha must carry a negative RT-PCR test report with a sample taken within 48 hours before arrival. RT-PCR Test timeline starts from the report issuance time.

Important Information:

Children below the age of 10 years shall be exempted from pre-departure RT-PCR. International travellers arriving in Punjab must undergo RAT (Rapid Antigen Test) at the airport, in case they do not have a negative RT-PCR test report conducted within 72 hours before arrival. Thereafter, passengers must quarantine for the next 7 days.

International travellers arriving without the test or if the test validity is longer than 72 hours due to a long layover/transit must undergo institutional quarantine at their own cost. However, this is at the discretion of the state authorities.

Rajasthan

Mandatory for Travellers

  1. Download and update the Aarogya Setu App
  2. Submit a Self-Health Declaration form on arrival.
  3. Travellers travelling to Udaipur are mandatorily required to upload a copy of their RT-PCR negative report on http://emitra.rajasthan.gov.in.
  4. Some lockdown restrictions might be in effect at the moment, however, flight operations remain unaffected during this time. Please check the latest state guidelines before travelling.

Quarantine and Testing Guidelines

  1. Thermal screening will be mandatory for all travellers.
  2. Vaccinated travellers can enter the state with a COVID vaccination certificate (at least one dosage).
  3. Negative RT-PCR test report is NOT required for vaccinated (at least one dosage) travellers to enter Rajasthan.
  4. COVID test requirements: Non-vaccinated travellers entering the state carry a negative RT-PCR test report with a sample taken within 72 hours before arrival. RT-PCR test timeline starts from the swab collection time.
  5. Travellers travelling to the state might not be allowed to board their flights if they are not carrying a valid test report/vaccination certificate.
  6. Government officials holding constitutional positions, defense personnel and medical support team shall be exempted from pre-departure RT-PCR however shall have to undergo 15 days home quarantine upon arrival into the state.
  7. All visitors to Udaipur must produce a negative RT-PCR test if they wish to book a hotel room. They must also upload a copy of their test report on http://emitra.rajasthan.gov.in

Tamil Nadu

Mandatory for Travellers
  1. Install and update the Aarogya Setu App.
  2. All travellers coming to Tamil Nadu must register for an e-pass(except those coming from Puducherry).

Quarantine and Testing Rules

Test/Vaccination Requirement:

  1. Pre-departure Test: All travellers from Kerala flying to Tamil Nadu must either carry a valid vaccination certificate (both doses done) or a negative RT-PCR test report (sample taken within 72 hours before arrival). Travellers from all other states (except Kerala) can enter without restrictions. Travellers from any state flying to Coimbatore must carry a negative RT-PCR test report during departure. Without a valid test, they will have to undergo a test on arrival in Coimbatore.
  2. On-arrival Test: Symptomatic travellers must undergo a test on arrival. If positive, they will be taken for hospital isolation.
  3. If they test positive and symptomatic, they will be taken to the hospital for isolation. If negative and asymptomatic, they must self-monitor their health for 14 days. If negative and symptomatic, they will be taken to the hospital for isolation and further treatment..

Quarantine Requirements:

  1. All travellers from Maharashtra and Kerala must home quarantine for 7 days and self-isolate for 7 days after arrival. All travellers from other states must self-isolate for 14 days. Exemption: Business travellers flying from other states to Tamil Nadu are exempted from home quarantine. However, this exemption is not applicable for those travelling to Coimbatore.
  2. International travellers entering the state must check Government-issued guidelines on registration, quarantine and testing protocols.

Telangana

Guidelines for Vaccinated Travellers:

  1. Vaccination certificate is NOT required to enter Telangana.

Guidelines for Non-vaccinated Travellers:

  1. Negative RT-PCR test report is NOT required for passengers to enter Telangana.

  1. All travellers must go through thermal screening.
  2. Vaccinated travellers can enter the state with a final COVID vaccination certificate (both doses done) after completing 15 days from receipt of the 2nd dose.
  3. No negative RT-PCR test report is required for fully vaccinated travelers to enter Uttarakhand.
  4. Non-vaccinated travellers entering the state must carry a negative RT-PCR test report with a sample taken within 72 hours before arrival. RT-PCR test timeline starts from the swab collection time.
  5. Travellers travelling to the state might not be allowed to board their flights if they are not carrying a valid test report/vaccination certificate.
  6. Exemption: Defense Personnel and their families will be exempted from pre-departure RT-PCR requirement.
  7. COVID Test will be done (free of cost) for passengers arriving from Maharashtra, Kerala & Gujarat
  8. Home quarantine for visitors coming for more than 7 days. No quarantine for travelers coming to Uttarakhand with stay less than 7 days.
  9. All passengers will be exempted from home quarantine if they arrive with RT- PCR/True NAT/CBNAAT/Antigen test with negative report not more than 72hrs before arrival.
  10. International travellers arriving without the test or if the test validity is longer than 72 hours due to a long layover/transit must undergo institutional quarantine at their own cost. However, this is at the discretion of the state authorities.
  11. International travellers entering the state must check Government-issued guidelines on registration, quarantine and testing protocols.

Uttar Pradesh

Guidelines for Vaccinated travellers:

Vaccinated passengers arriving from Maharashtra, Goa, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Odisha can enter the state with a final COVID vaccination certificate (both doses done).

For Lucknow: Vaccinated passengers arriving from the states of Sikkim, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Kerala, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura & Maharashtra can enter Lucknow with a final COVID vaccination certificate (both doses done). Negative RT-PCR test report is not required for fully vaccinated travellers from above-mentioned states to enter Lucknow.

For Varanasi & Bareilly: Vaccinated passengers can enter Varanasi and Bareilly with a final COVID vaccination certificate (both doses done).

For Rest of the State - Vaccination certificate is not required for travellers travelling to other cities of UP.

Guidelines for Non-vaccinated Travellers:

Non-vaccinated passengers arriving from Maharashtra, Goa, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Odisha must carry a negative RT-PCR test report with a sample taken within 72 hours before arrival.

For Agra: All passengers arriving into the city of Agra shall be mandatorily required to undergo RT-PCR test upon arrival free of cost.

For Rest of the State - Negative RT-PCR test report is not required for travellers travelling to other cities of UP.

Passengers travelling to the state might not be allowed to board their flights if they are not carrying a valid test report/vaccination certificate.

All vaccinated and non-vaccinated passengers travelling to West Bengal from Mumbai, Pune and Chennai must carry a RT-PCR negative report with a sample taken within 72 hours. RT-PCR timeline starts from the swab collection time. Passengers travelling to the state might not be allowed to board their flights if they are not carrying a valid test report.

Symptomatic passengers from Maharashtra and Kerala must undergo 14 days of home quarantine.

Passengers exiting Uttar Pradesh within 7 days of arrival shall be exempted from mandatory quarantine subject to validation of return/onward travel.

International travellers arriving without the test or if the test validity is longer than 72 hours due to a long layover/transit must undergo institutional quarantine at their own cost. However, this is at the discretion of the state authorities.

West Bengal

Mandatory for Travellers

  1. Please note: As per a notification by the West Bengal government, effective January 5, 2022, flights will operate from Delhi and Mumbai to West Bengal (Kolkata, Bagdogra and Durgapur airports) only on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Travellers are advised to check the latest updates before booking.
  2. Download and update the Aarogya Setu App.
  3. Download the Sandhane App and fill up the declaration form on it. 


Quarantine and Testing Guidelines

  1. Vaccinated passengers can enter West Bengal with a final COVID vaccination certificate (both doses done). Negative RT-PCR test report is NOT required for fully vaccinated travellers to enter West Bengal.
  2. Non-vaccinated passengers entering West Bengal must carry a negative RT-PCR report with a sample taken within 72 hours before arrival. RT-PCR timeline starts from the swab collection time. Passengers travelling to West Bengal might not be allowed to board their flights if they are not carrying a valid test report/vaccination certificate.
  3. Passengers who do not have to carry the test include:
  4. Children below 2 years of age
  5. Anyone travelling due to a death in the family. However, they must take a self-paid test on arrival. Exception to be applied through domesticairlines.wb@gmail.com.
  6. Please note, transit passengers whose final destination is not West Bengal and who do not need to come out of the airport do not need to carry a COVID test report for Kolkata.
