The Board of Directors of Saudi Arabian Airlines, headed by the Minister of Transport, Saleh Al-Jasser, has shown speeding up preparations for the resumption of international flights from next month.

Ministry of Interior had amended last Jan 29, the date for lifting the suspension of travel for Saudi citizens and the full operation of airports and crossing points on land and sea borders, from May 17, 2021.

In its meeting, the Board also discussed, several issues related to the airline's policy, performance reports, and programs for developing and improving services.

The Minister of Transport showed his apprecaition to the Executive Management of the Airline and its employees for the efforts expended during the past period of pendamic.


The period includes the continuation of operations for inland flights, with the implementation of the highest safety protocals in the precautionary and preventive measures to limit the spread of any novel coronavirus (COVID-19) infection and to ensure the safety of the passengers and employees simultaneously.
