Jammu-Kashmir Administration Making A Hut-House At Kokernag For Tourism Attraction

In the view to promote the J&K tourism administration have start building a hut-house, cafeterias and resorts at Anantnag district under Prime Minister Developement Project with the approximately cost of INR 3.5 crore.

Authorities have started the construction of B. The construction work is being executed by Kokernag Development Authority (KDA).

Anantnag Deputy Commissioner Dr Piyush Singla said, "Kokernag is a very beautiful area. Many assests are being created here by the Kokernag Development Authority to make this place a point of attraction for tourists. The whole district of Anantnag has many tourist points but specially Kokernag, Daksum, Sinthan can be turned into a famous tourist destination."

Kokernag is the most popular place visited by the tourists of Srinagar during the summer period. The residents of near by district appreciated this act of developement of the Srinagar Government.

As the coronavirus lockdown is on going at Srinagar, still government is proceeding the work of developement in many place of Kashmir valley following the Covid-19 rulings and Ministry of Home Affairs' guidings.
