As the surge of novel coronavirus not comes to end in Nepal, Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal extends the suspension of scheduled international flights till May 31 2021.

Lastly the suspension was announced till May 14, which has now extended by 17 days.

Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal issued a notice to all airlines, "The suspension period of international scheduled flights (except two flights in a week between Kathmandu and New Delhi, one flight each by Nepal Airlines and Air India, under the Air Travel Bubble Arrangement) is extended till 31st May 2021 midnight (23:59 hrs NST)"


The Aviation Ministry has also advised all the airlines to provide the refund against air tickets or extension of travel dates as required by travellers.

It is also noted that Nepal has also restricted all foreign nationals from using Kathmandu as a transit point for the purposes of onward journeys to third country.
