The Saudi Arabian government extended the validity of iqamas, exit, re-entry and visit visas for countries from which arrivals in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia were suspended.

The Saudi Press Agency, citing the royal order, reported that all visas that are about to expire will be extended for free until 31 July 2021.

It is to be noted that earlier the country has extended the validity of Iqamas, exit, re-entry and travel visas till June 2, 2021.

The free extension of the validity period of Iqama and visa granted by the Finance Minister on the instructions of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman is part of the government's continued efforts to ensure the safety of citizens and residents and to reduce the number of cases.

The Immigration Authority confirmed that the extension would happen automatically, in collaboration with the National Informatics Centre, without the need to report to the Directorate of Passport Offices.
