New Delhi, The Royal Thai Embassy in India announced on Monday that it will resume issuing Visas to Non-Thai nationals.

The Embassy announced the suspension of the issuance of Visas for non-Thai nationals travelling from India to Thailand on April 25, 2021.


Recent announcement by the Thai Embassy states;

1. For non-Thai nationals the embassy will resume issuing Visas as follows.

  1. Diplomatic and international organization officials working in Thailand and their family members.
  2. Practitioners or experts pursuant to the request or approval of Thai executives or CEOs of companies with large investments in Thailand.
  3. Non-Thai citizens whose family members reside in Thailand at the time of applying for the Visa.

2. Please note that the issuance of Visa to individuals in numbers 1.2 and 1.3 is subject to the approval of the Center for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA), so it may take longer than usual.

3. The embassy will resume visa service for all types of visas except tourist visas. Please contact VFS Global or BLS International to apply for a visa.
