Soon booking resumes on international flights from India to Saudi Arabia as today there is a meeting held between External Affairs Minister DrSJaishankar and Saudi Arabia Foreign Minister Faisalbinfarhan.

This news about resumption of international flights to Saudi Arabia comes after the United Arab Emirates last month eased travel restrictions for fully vaccinated passengers from India.

As of now it remains suspense whether flights will resume or not but in today's meeting it is almost certain that flights will definitely resume from October 10, 2021.

Travel Guidelines for Saudi Arabia

1) Resident permit holders (Iqama holders and valid exit re-entry visa) who have completed the vaccination process are allowed to travel.
2) Passengers must confirm through their Tawaqlan mobile application (Vaccine Certificate and Health Passport) Saudi Arabia prior to check-in.
3) RT-PCR negative report was taken within 72 hours from boarding.
4) This RT-PCR report should be from an ICMR recognized laboratory and should contain a QR code.
5) Travellers will have to register the vaccination data in the Mukeem website.

Scheduled international passenger services have been suspended in India with effect from March 23, 2020, due to the coronavirus pandemic. But under the Vande Bharat Mission, special international flights are operating from May 2020.6. Passengers will have to carry their fully vaccinated COVID-19 certificate at the time of travel.
