United Arab Emirates has eased procedures and coronavirus protocols to enter the country for Indians to UAE, Indian Ambassador in UAE Dr Ahmed Albanna said.

The announcement comes in the wake of Expo 2020 Dubai, which is scheduled to start from 01 October 2021.

Sharing the details of Expo 2020 Dubai, Albanna said that all Indian visitors whether they have tourist visa or work visa, will be allowed to enter UAE with easy protocols for COVID-19.

Dr. Ahmed Albanna added in his statement “we have also created a mechanism to issuing visas and expediting issuing of visas to all people and foreigners to visit the Dubai Expo”.

About 25 million visitors are expected to attend Expo 2020 Dubai and the event has registered attendance of over 46,000 organizations from over 180 countries to do business.

Expo 2020, the ambassador said, coincides with the 50th anniversary of the UAE in 2021, an important milestone for the UAE. The event was earlier scheduled to take place on October 20, 2020-10 April, 2021.

The event will take place between the cities of Dubai and Abu Dhabi and the main venue of the event will be a 438-hectare area located between the cities of Dubai and Abu Dhabi, near Dubai's western border with Abu Dhabi.

The expo's theme is "Connecting Minds, Creating the Future", noting that "the theme of the expo is based on the belief that bringing the world together" and that it can "catalyze the exchange of new perspectives and real-life may inspire action to give". solutions to real-world challenges".
