Nepal Tourism Board has announced that the country is now open to fully vaccinated and unvaccinated tourists.

However, passengers arriving by air who are not vaccinated or not fully vaccinated will have to be quarantined for 10 days, while the land limit is only for fully vaccinated passengers.

Fully vaccinated passengers can now enter by air and/or borders. Passengers arriving by air without vaccination/not fully vaccinated will have to be quarantined for 10 days while entry into land border is not allowed.

Travel Guidelines For Nepal 

1. Travellers must carry Vaccination Certificate, Hotel Booking, Visa on Arrival, Recommendation letter (if not fully vaccinated) 72 Hrs, PCR Negative Report, CCMC Form.

2. For Visa on Arrival, Fully Vaccinated: Contact Nepalese Embassy or Consulate in your country, Not Vaccinated/Not Fully Vaccinated: Contact Nepalese Embassy or Consulate in your country.

3. Fully vaccinated do not need quarantine on arrival and Unvaccinated have 10 days hotel quarantine. PCR test on Day 11 before travelling within the country.
