India's full service and luxury carrier Vistara, today introduced new inflight meal in cabins on its domestic network. The airline has resumed serving hot vegetarian meals in economy class on flights within India starting from today.

Vistara has introduced pre-packaged snacks in economy class as part of service modifications (in line with regulatory guidelines) introduced to maintain the highest standards of safety and hygiene and contribute in controlling the spread of COVID-19 was temporarily replaced with hot food.


After travel, one customer shared a view that Vistara has received in the recent past shows that passengers are becoming more confident about dining on board.

The inflight menu will be refreshed every three days and include a range of great options for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks that are customer favorites.

Breakfast options in economy class include masala uttapam, medu vada, idli with sambar, etc.; Lunch and dinner options include vegetable biryani with dal makhani, cumin pulao with chana masala, and more; Masala Pav with Bhaji, Hot Garlic Vegetables with Noodles etc. will be served as snacks on relevant flights.

Vistara continues to closely follow customer preferences and plans to adapt its offerings to the changing demand patterns to deliver a world-class travel experience, while adopting all possible COVID-19 safety and hygiene measures for passengers and employees.
