Andaman and Nicobar has updated the COVID-19 restrictions for visiting tourists. Now, all vaccinated visitors entering Port Blair will be exempted from having a negative RT-PCR test report and quarantining with immediate effect.

Fully vaccinated individuals will have to present a final vaccination certificate at Port Blair airport or seaport and the origin airport / port in mainland.

Those who have been partially vaccinated, unvaccinated, or have symptoms of COVID-19 will be required to produce a negative RT-PCR test report no later than 48 hours from their scheduled departure.

They will also have to undergo additional RT-PCR tests on arrival at Port Blair airport, and remain in quarantine till the test results are received.

If their test results come back positive, then the prescribed quarantine protocol is to be followed.

But Travoinfo suggests you to book your flights accordingly as Veer Savarkar International Airport in Port Blair will be closed four days a week till May 2022 for runway renovation works.
