Air India on Monday announced that it will offer one free date change also waived off the cancellation charges for the passengers who have booked flight tickets on the India-Dubai-India sector but unable to travel due to flight cancelled by Ministry of Dubai due to surge in Covid-19 cases.

This offer will be applicable to the passengers who booked their flight for travel between 25th April to 04th May, ’21.

Announcement comes into action after the UAE announced the suspension of all flights from India for 10 days starting from 11.59 pm on Saturday, April 24.

Air India announced in tweet "UAE Update: Air India will offer one-time free date change to passengers holding confirmed tickets on the India-UAE-India sector in view of the restrictions announced by the UAE Government for passenger entry into UAE other than UAE Nationals and those from a specified exempted category from 25th April to 04th May, ’21. Cancellation charges for tickets during the said period will also be waived" 

After the flight ban, Indian nationals will not able to travel to the UAE, and entry of Indians from any other country to the UAE will not be allowed unless they have stayed in that country for over 14 days. All passengers who have transited through India in the last 14 days are also not permitted to board from any other point of UAE.

Lastly, UAE citizens, diplomatic delegations, official delegations, and flights of businessmen are the are allowed to travel to UAE.
