As after increment in cases of Novel Coronavirus Government of Gujarat has imposed night Curfew in 20 major cities till 30 April to break the chain of infection.

The chief minister of Gujarat Vijay rupani announced today that night curfew to be imposed in the 20 cities of Gujarat between 8pm to 6am.

"100 people to be allowed at weddings. Grand events to be postponed until April 30. Govt offices to remain closed on Saturday till April 30." CM added in his statement.

Cities of Gujarat where night curfew will be imposed are Ahmedabad, Amreli, Surat, Rajkot, Vadodara, Junagadh, Gandhinagar, Jamnagar, Bhavnagar, Anand, Nadiad, Mehsana, Morbi, Patan, Godhra, Dahod, Bhuj, Gandhidham, Bharuch and Surendranagar.

On Tuesday State Health Department said that "Gujarat reported 3,280 fresh coronavirus positive cases in the last 24 hours, the highest rise in a day, taking the tally of infections to 3,24,878 while 17 deaths pushed the toll to 4,598"

Gujarat is now left with 17,348 active cases of the 17 fatalities, seven patients died each in Ahmedabad and Surat, while two succumbed to the infection in Rajkot and one died in Vadodara district.

Health Department on Tuesday said that "with 2,167 people recovering in the last 24 hours, the count of recoveries in Gujarat went up to 3,02,932 on Tuesday"
