As booming in the cases of Novel Coronavirus the Governemnt of Gujarat have also declared to carry a negative RT PCR test in the state of Gujarat from April 1, 2021.

As earlier the Government of Gujarat had made negative test report mandatory for only on the people of Maharashtra because Covid-19 hits suverel area of Maharashtra badly in earlier days. 

Health department of Gujarat said "The coronavirus infection rate is increasing in many states of the country. It is also seen that prevalence of COVID-19 is high among those who have travel history." The person entering in the Gujarat requiered a negative RT PCR report not older the 72 hours to enter the state.

These restrictions are also applicable in Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Jammu & Kashmir, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Manipur, Odisha, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Tripura, Uttarakhand, and West Bengal to travel one state to another.
