The Ministry of Home Affairs has requested all States to impose strict restrictions and implement strict containment measures for 14-days to break the chain COVID-19 curve.
In a letter to States on Monday, Union Home Secretary Ajay Kumar Bhalla acknowledged that considering the "unstoppable surge," there’s an urgent need for all States and Union Territories to impose make COVID administration and administration measures to monitor the state of affairs under administration.
Added in letter, "States and UTs, based on their assessment of the situation, may impose local restrictions at district/sub district and city/ward level, with a view to contain the spread of COVID 19"
Now this time the average of covid-19 cases in India reahed to near about 3.2 lacs cases per day.
MHA's Demand
The Health ministry had advised to implement night curfew, closure of malls, shopping for complexes and proscribing office vitality to 50% as among the many measures to incorporate the unfold in areas that required intensive movement.
The spread of the Covid-19 has to be controlled through restricting the social distancing amongst people, the only known host for the COVID 19 virus. Social/ political / sports / entertainment / academic / cultural / religious / festival related and other gathering and congregations shall be prohibited. Marriages (attended by up to 50 persons) and funerals/ last rites (attended by up to 20 persons) may be allowed.
