The West Bengal Govt announced that negative Covid-19 test reports mandatory for all passengers arriving from Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, and Chattisgarh.

RT-PCR report is not more older then 72 hrs before onboarding the flight.

West Bengal announced this protocal as the surge of Coronavirus hike daily to bad figures, mostly in these 5 states.

It is to be noted that the state has already made it “mandatory” for air travellers from Kerala, Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Telangana to carry COVID-19 negative reports while arriving at West Bengal.

Senior official said when West Bengal made the reports mandatory earlier "There is no provision of getting the test done on arrival. The rule also applies for flights departing from the four states mentioned and are bound for Bagdogra and Andal (both in West Bengal)".
