National carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain Gulf Air shares new guidelines for passengers travelling from India to Bahrain.

The latest guidelines will be applicable on all passengers travelling from India to Bahrain from May 23, 2021. Following passengers are allowed to travel Bahrain as per the latest guidelines;

1) Nationals of Bharain/Residents and Indian Nationals holding any type of valid Visa from the Kingdom of Bahrain.

2) Airline crew members.

3) Military personnel.

New guidelines for passengers travelling to Bahrain

All Passengers from India travelling to Bahrain have to present a negative RT-PCR test report from ICMR approved labs with QR code with test/sample taken not more than 48 hours prior to the departure.

All passengers arriving in the Bahrain from India must undergo a series of RT-PCR tests (at their own expense), costing BD 36 (Approx. INR 7000).

The first test will done on arrival and the second will take place five  days later. The final test will take place on the 10th day of stay in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

In addition, all passengers shall quarantine for 10 days at a government-added hotels licensed by the national health regulatory authority or their residence on arrival from May 23, 2021.

Passengers arriving in Bahrain are required to provide proof of residence owned or rented by passengers or first family or NHRA authorizes prepaid hotel reservations in their name before boarding their flights from India.
