Chief Minister of Goa Pramod Sawant has announced that fully vaccinated travellers will no longer have to hold a covid-19 negative RT-PCR report. Travellers who have completed the process of vaccinations without any negative certificate will be allowed to enter the state.

Sawant said, "People who have taken both the vaccination shots and possess a complete vaccination certificate will be allowed to enter Goa. It can be for those who are coming for tourism, business or other reasons" 

CM further said that the positivity rate in Goa has come down to six percent and the recovery rate has also increased day by day. As of now, the state government is planning to set up pathlabs to set up testing facilities at all major railway stations in Goa.

Sawant said the covid-19 situation is slowly coming under control in the state and the positivity rate is decreasing while the recovery rate is increasing.

At the topic of vaccination Sawant said, "By July 30, we will have covered 100 per cent of the first dose,"
