London's iconic Madame Tussauds, famous for its wax sculptures, is set to open in Dubai later this year.  The museum has about 250 wax sculptures in London, and is one of the main attractions of London.

Merlin Entertainments, owner of Madame Tussauds Group, has now announced that the new museum in Dubai will feature sculptures of 60 global stars.

Tourists will be able to visit this star-studded museum in Dubai, which will also include big names from the region.

The first Madame Tussauds inauguated in London in 1835, and has been a center of attraction for over 200 years. The figures here are developed with the help of sculptors, who continue to use the techniques of Marie Tussauds, the artist who founded the museum in London at the time. It takes an artist 12 weeks to complete a wax figure, and there are several steps involved to create a final product that looks like life.

The latest Madame Tussauds which is set to open in Dubai will have seven themed rooms. Shahrukh Khan, the popular actor of India's Hindi film industry, will have a wax statue here. Other global stars such as Cristiano Ronaldo and model Cara Delevingne are also going to receive life-size statues at the museum here.
