As there is a fall in cases of coronavirus globally, Thailand might reopen for fully vaccinated foreign visitors by mid-October 2021.

Thailand wants to restart its tourism industry at the right time. Thailand's tourism sector was hit hard by the pandemic of covid-19, and restarting it will give a ray of hope to many who fully depend on tourism.

As per Thai Prime Minister, Prayuth Chan-Ocha, foreign travellers and Thai nationals who have been fully vaccinated will be allowed to enter the country without quarantine or other such restrictions.

Prime Minister said Prayuth acknowledged that insistence on reopening could cause problems, "I know this decision comes with some risk because, when we open the country, there will be an increase in infections, no matter how good our precautions."

He further added that when the economic needs of the people are taken into account, one can see that it is time to take calculated risks. This decision will be reconsidered only if a serious situation arises in the coming days.

Thailand had earlier planned to reopen the country in January, but this did not happen as the situation was still quite unfavorable.

Many tourists are waiting for Thailand to open as there are many places to visit and travellers from India and many countries like the night life of Pattaya, shopping malls in Bangkok and last but not least Thailand's beaches.
