Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, Mumbai issues a updated guidelines for arriving passengers in the state.

As per the updated guidelines, all domestic air travellers arriving in Mumbai from airports located within the state of Maharashtra will no longer be required to undergo negative RT-PCR test upon landing in Mumbai.

Similarly, for all domestic air passengers travelling from Mumbai airport to airports located within Maharashtra, airport operators/ airlines will not required negative RT-PCR test report.

However, all passengers travelling to Maharashtra from other states are still required to carry a negative RT-PCR test report not older then 48 hrs.

Officials had decided this after the fall in cases of novel coronavirus in the state of Mumbai.

The sample collection of RT-PCR should have been done within 48 hours of the scheduled landing at Mumbai airport. Passengers were not allowed to board the flight without the RT-PCR test report.
