Russia has developed a new parachute system that could help carry military service dogs to places a plane cannot land. The equipment is going through the final testing phase.

Technodinamica, the aviation holding company responsible for this new type of parachute, released a video of some of the tests and interviews on their YouTube and Instagram pages.

The equipment was not previously available in Russia, but it can now help a person paratrooper with an official dog to conduct search and military operations in places where an aircraft could not land, their statement said. He said his system can be used both for a skydive with a dog and simultaneously.

The video shows Army personnel getting ready with their trained dogs in a plane. The trapment of the parachute is different as it has a strapped pocket where the dog can be carried in front of the human. After the system was tied on the human and the dog, they set out for skydiving. Fortunately, the device worked well.

Chief parachuter Alexei Kozin, as Technodinamika said, "We conducted a full cycle of development: from documentation to preliminary trials," He said that the system was then transferred to the Russian Defense Ministry.

The equipment is undergoing final testing, is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2021 and is expected to be presented at the "Army-2021" platform.
