Kuwait on Wednesday announced that it will resume commercial flight operations with 6 countries including India, Egypt, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Nepal.

Passenger flight operations from the above countries were restricted due to the coronavirus situation.

The decision was made at a cabinet meeting that outlined that flights with these countries would be subject to measures identified by Kuwait's ministerial coronavirus emergency committee.

From April 24, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Kuwait has suspended all incoming passenger flights from India.

All travellers arriving from the India were not permitted to enter the country, either directly or through another country, unless they had arrived from the Republic of India at least 2 weeks prior to their arrival in the State of Kuwait.
