Oman announced that it would lift travel restrictions on fully vaccinated travellers coming from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and 18 other countries that were red-listed previously.

Ban list co countries includes Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Ethiopia, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Libya, Malaysia, Nigeria, Philippines, Singapore, Sudan, Tanzania, Thailand, Tunisia, United Kingdom and Vietnam.

All Omani citizens, residents of Oman, visa holders from Oman who do not require a visa to travel to Oman, and who can obtain a visa on arrival, are permitted to enter the country as per the pre-coronavirus system. allowed to do.

Travel Guidelines For Sultanate Of Oman 

1. The list of countries that entered the Sultanate's territory has been abolished.

2. Omani citizens, residents with valid residence permits, and travelers with valid visas are allowed to enter the Sultanate without prior approval.

3. All travellers arriving in the Sultanate are required to present a medical certificate with a QR code of taking two doses or the first dose of a locally accepted vaccine. The second dose is to be taken 14 days before the scheduled arrival time of the Sultanate (MOH will post and update the list of locally approved vaccines).

4. Exemption from quarantine for all passengers (Omani citizens and foreigners) arriving in the Sultanate on long international flights (with duration less than 8 hours) with pre-travel negative PCR test (within 96 hours) as well as short-time passengers has been given. Flights with negative RT-PCR test.

5. All passengers arriving in the Sultanate on long international flights (with duration less than 8 hours) with negative PCR test before travel (within 96 hours) are exempted from quarantine as well as passengers having a negative COVID- 19 PCR test (within 72 hours)

This announcemany will take effect from 12:00 noon on Wednesday, 1 September 2021 in the Sultanate, except that Omani citizens and their families who have left the Sultanate before the issuance of this circular are exempted from the vaccine requirement for a maximum of two (2) from the month of issue of this circular.
