Government of India announces that international travellers arriving from UK, Europe, Middle East, South Africa, Brazil, Bangladesh, Botswana, China, Mauritius, New Zealand, Zimbabwe will be subjected to compulsorily self-paid RT-PCR test on arrival at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, Mumbai, with effect from 3rd September 2021.

Updated Travel Guidelines for International Travellers at Mumbai Airport

1. All international travellers arriving or departing from UK, Europe, Middle East, South Africa, Brazil, Bangladesh, Botswana, China, Mauritius, New Zealand, Zimbabwe will be subjected to compulsorily self-paid RTPCR test on arrival at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Will go Airport, Mumbai, wef 03.09.2021

2. All the relaxations given as per the earlier circular will no longer be applicable. Full/Double COVID-19 vaccination, travellers above 65 years of age, etc.

3. All other passengers UK, Europe, Middle East, South Africa, Brazil, Bangladesh, Botswana, China, Mauritius, New Zealand. Except Zimbabwe who have to exit from Mumbai airport or take a connecting flight, can submit their negative RT-PCR test report. will display. Can exit and exit the airport within 72 hours of travel. RT PCR test will not be mandatory for such passengers on arrival at Mumbai airport from 03.09.2021

4. All passengers will have to submit their self-declaration form A. Officers A and B posted at the Mumbai airport will be compulsorily subjected to a 14-day home quarantine.

The testing capacity has been increased to 600 passengers per hour at Mumbai Airport and cost of testing is INR 600 for RT-PCR test.

For effective implementation of the above guidelines, necessary arrangements for RT PCR test and registration are already done at Mumbai airport by the airport operator at the rates fixed by the government.
