IndiGo and SpiceJet have recently announced about the flight to Thailand under the air bubble arrangement which will start from March 10, 2022.

India and Thailand have signed an air bubble agreement to start flight operations between the two countries. Under the air bubble arrangement, both Indian and Thai carriers are now allowed to operate flights between India and Thailand and carry certain categories of persons on such flights.

As per the details shared by both the airlines, they will operate direct flights connecting Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata and Bengaluru with Bangkok and Phuket.

Shilpa Bhatia, Chief Commercial Officer, SpiceJet said, “We are delighted to launch new flights connecting Delhi, Mumbai, and Kolkata with Bangkok. The Thai Capital has always been among the top picks for leisure travelers and a favorite international destination for SpiceJet passengers. With international leisure travel picking up again, we expect our new flights to do very well.”

Who can travel from India to Thailand ?

1. Citizens/residents of Thailand.
2. Any Indian citizen or citizen of Nepal or Bhutan destined for Thailand and holds a valid Thailand visa. Airlines should ensure that all passengers fulfill the entry requirement before issuing tickets/boarding passes to passengers.
3. Foreign nationals holding a valid visa for Thailand.
