Thailand is in a mood to launch an air travel bubble with India with a focus on attracting high-value young Indian visitors. It comes to make a significant contribution to the recovery of the state's tourism-dependent economy.

Center for COVID-19 Situation Administration in Thailand, on Friday approved a proposal to set up an Air Travel Bubble between India and Thailand, to provide more convenience to air travelers traveling between the two countries.

Thaland has reopened from 1 February 2022 and has resumed its quarantine-free itineraries such as the Test and Go Entry Scheme and the Sandbox Program.

Effective February 1, 2022, the sandbox area will include; Phuket, Krabi, Phan-Nga, Surat Thani (Koh Samui, Koh Tao and Koh Phangan), Chonburi (Ptaya and some districts), and Trat (Koh Chang)
