People traveling from India to Singapore, United Arab Emirates and Kuwait will be able to visit both as travel restrictions have been eased by both the countries.

According to Singapore Airlines the travel history requirement of fully vaccinated passengers traveling to Singapore on VTL flights from Chennai, Delhi and Mumbai will be reduced from 14 to 7 days from tomorrow.

"From 22 February 2022 (Singapore time), fully vaccinated passengers travelling to Singapore on VTL flights from Chennai, Delhi and Mumbai can adhere to the new relaxations. Travel history requirement will be reduced from 14 to 7 days. If the traveller has been in Singapore within those last 7 days, his/her stay in Singapore can be counted towards fulfilling this 7-day travel history requirement." Singapore Airlines said in a official statement.

United Arab Emirates

UAE has also updated its travel guidelines for people traveling from India. These include travelers who have completed the full immunization program of both doses in India, are exempted from RT-PCR testing prior to their departure from the United Arab Emirates for travel to India.

Passengers should also upload the COVID-19 vaccination certificate issued in India on the Air Suvidha portalAll other passengers should carry a negative RT-PCR certificate and upload it on the Air Suvidha Portal.

All passengers should submit complete and factual information in self-declaration form on online Air Suvdha portal before scheduled journey including travel details of last 14 days.

Kuwait

Kuwait has also announced some relaxation for people traveling from India to Kuwait. The new guidelines allow travelers with valid travel documents to enter the state of Kuwait irrespective of their vaccination status.

1. Fully vaccinated (only Kuwait government-approved vaccine) is not required to take an RT-PCR test for travel to Kuwait.

2. Partially vaccinated and unvaccinated travelers are required to undergo RT-PCR test to travel to Kuwait.

3. Children under the age of 16 are exempt.

4. Partially vaccinated and unvaccinated guests subject to home quarantine for 7 days.
