Uttar Pradesh (UP) is all set to take a big step on the tourism circuit as the state cabinet has approved four new heliports.

These new heliports were initially proposed by the State Tourism Board and would come up in the major tourist-famous cities of Lucknow, Prayagraj, Mathura and Agra. The new heliports will be used for several vertical lift aircraft in addition to helicopters.

Union Tourism Ministry said in his statement, "With a view to promote tourist destinations, the Ministry of Tourism has issued guidelines to extend financial assistance to state governments/Union Territory administrations for construction of heliports under the Scheme of Product/ Infrastructure Development for Destinations and Circuits."

All four cities on the circuit are some of the most famous tourist destinations in India, the Taj Mahal, Mathura and Prayagraj in Agra are highly revered by tourists, and Lucknow scores big with its beautiful architecture, its culture to offer and a dish that is admired far and wide.

From this point of view the government will surely earn a huge profit after opening these heliports as tourists demand heliports to make travel friendly and remarkable.
