Passengers traveling from Delhi's Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport will now be able to use the 'DigiYatra' facility without downloading a mobile application.

Reports have it that the initiative has been launched at Terminal-3 of IGI Airport which will allow passengers to access the facility through a three-step registration process.

The registration process requires passengers to scan their face and boarding pass as well as present an identity proof to the security personnel stationed near the registration desk. After their successful registration, passengers will have hassle-free travel inside the terminal, at the boarding gate and even at the security check area.

Delhi Airport is constantly working towards improving the passenger experience, and this latest initiative will allow even those who are less conversant with technology to make full use of DigiYatra and travel seamlessly.

DigiYatra is a fast, safe and convenient way to travel, which aims to allow passengers to spend more time with their family and friends at the airport.

DigiYatra was launched on December 1, 2022, ensuring faster mobility of passengers at boarding gates, hassle-free travel and dedicated gates while going completely contactless.
