After the rapid increment in cases of novel coronavirus to ner about 10,000 cases per day, Rajasthan Govt on Sunday imposed a 14 days lockdown in complete state which starts from April 19 and ends on May 3, 2021.

Rajasthan Govt. has given new name to the new restrictions as ‘Jan Anushashan Pakhwara’ (Public Discipline Fortnight).

Essential services like State and Central Government Offices, Health Services, Mandis, Groceries, Dairies, Ration Shops, etc. will remain open during the 'Jan Anushashan Pakhwara'.

Essential Services Allowed During 'Jan Anushashan Pakhwara'

  • Essential services including banks, dairy shops, grocery stores, and pharmacies will be allowed.
  • Till 7 pm Vegetables, fruits, milk, and grocery items will be sold in shops. LPG, gas and petrol pump services, as well as sweet shops and food takeaway shops, will be open till 8 pm.

Exemptions During 'Jan Anushashan Pakhwara'

  • To save the migration of people working in state, industrial units will also be allowed to function during the lockdown.
  • Electronic and print media employees will be allowed after showing their identity cards.
  • Those who are traveling by train, bus, or flight will be allowed to move on after showing their confirmed tickets of booking.
