Maharashtra Makes E-Pass Compulsory For Inter-District Travel: Check How To Apply

Maharashtra has extended the restrictions related to covid-19 till June 15, 2021. An e-pass, which is an electronically generated travel pass, has now been made compulsory for road travel outside one's current district.

Official says, not everyone will be eligible to get an e-pass. Only those with a valid reason will be able to get the e-pass, and enjoy the freedom to travel within the state.

You can apply for an E-Pass by visiting https://t.co/jR6ROcjBYm for travelling within or outside Maharshtra in case of emergency. Please follow the given steps.

To apply for an e-pass, one has to go to covid19.mhpolice.in and apply for the same. From here, your application will be taken to the local police jurisdiction for processing based on your place of origin.

To obtain a pass, one needs a valid identity proof, a marriage card or any document related to marriage, medical reports of persons traveling to a medical emergency, or other emergency purposes.
