Andhra Pradesh government has decided to resume tourism in the state from today. State Tourism Minister Muttamsetty Srinivasa Rao on Wednesday announced the reopening of all major tourist attractions.

The minister also said that he would plan a roadshow across the country to popularize the tourist attractions of the state. He further informed that Blue Bay Hotel of Tourism Department at Rushikonda, Visakhapatnam will be developed.

Popular tourist attractions in Andhra Pradesh

Ramakrishna Beach, Visakhapatnam: Also known as RK Beach, this beach is located close to the famous dolphin's nose in Visakhapatnam and is famous for its clear blue waters.

Rushikonda Beach, Visakhapatnam: Located in Visakhapatnam, this beach is one of the best in Andhra Pradesh and is maintained by the State Tourism Board, APTDC.

Undavalli Caves, Amaravati: These beautiful rock-cut caves are the finest evidence of the ancient Vishwakarma Sthapathis. Undavalli Caves are located about 6 km from Vijayawada in Guntur city of Andhra Pradesh.

Sri Venkateswara Temple, Tirupati: Tirupati is one of the most revered Hindu pilgrimage sites in the country. Sri Venkateswara Temple is located in the hill town of Tirupati in Tirumala and is dedicated to Lord Venkateswara, a form of Vishnu.

Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Varla Devasthanam: Also known as Kanaka Durga Temple, this temple is absolutely famous in Vijayawada. The temple is situated on the banks of river Krishna and is dedicated to Goddess Durga.
