UAE's carrier Emirates is planning to resume flights between India and Dubai from July 07, which has been suspended since April 24, 2021 due to the huge rise in coronavirus cases in India.
The airline is awaiting the exact travel protocol and guidelines from the UAE government regarding the resumption of flight operations from India.
Earlier the airline had said in response to a passenger's question, "We’re expecting to resume our flights from India to Dubai from 7th of July 2021… We’re waiting for the exact travel protocols and relevant permits from the government authorities. We hope to have more details soon."
Emirates Starts Booking From India to Dubai
Other airlines like Air India, Vistara, Air Arabia and GoAir have also started showing the availability of flights to Dubai from July 07, 2021.
Still UAE's General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) has issued a NOTAM (Notice to Airmen) on June 24 and said that flights to India and 13 other countries will remain suspended till 23:59 pm of July 21, 2021.
Who allowed to Travel UAE ?
- Nationals, diplomatic delegations, official delegations, and businessmen are are exempted from this restriction and are allowed to travel between UAE and India.
- Also, the passengers arriving from India through other countries are required to show the proof of a period of stay of 14 days in that particula country to be allowed to enter the UAE.
