As cases of the Omicron variant of coronavirus increase, the Canadian government has advised its citizens not to travel unnecessarily and follow each covid-19 protocal assigned by the government.

This time the world is facing the worst situation due to the fear of Omicron virus.

The Government of Canada said in its official statement, "Our government is officially advising Canadians to avoid non-essential travel outside Canada."

And in this concern, Canadian Health Minister Jean-Yves Duclos, "Those who are planning to travel, I say very clearly: Now is not the time to travel. The rapid spread of the Covid variant on the global scale makes us fear the worst."

COVID-19 measures will be extended at every airport in Canada due to the prevention of Omicron virus. According to Duclos, the situation will remain the same in the coming days, so new measures are necessary.

This situation is changing rapidly and the available information suggests a significant resurgence of infection even without taking into account the new Omicron variant. Earlier, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau had once again proposed the idea of closing the borders, however, the idea was rejected by provincial leaders.
