As the Indian Government on Friday updated its list of 'at-risk' countries after witnessing a rise in omicron cases globally, the list includes countries such as Congo, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Nigeria, Tunisia and Zambia.
As of now, a total of 20 countries are included in India's 'at-risk' list. It is worth noting that all travellers from 'at-risk' countries will have to follow additional measures including post-arrival testing in India.
Countries in Europe including The United Kingdom, South Africa, Brazil, Botswana, China, Ghana, Mauritius, New Zealand, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Hong Kong, Israel, Congo, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Nigeria, Tunisia and Zambia.
Guidelines for International Travelers from 'at risk' Countries
- Submit the self-declaration form on the Air Suvidha Portal.
- Upload negative RT-PCR report (done within 72 hours before travel).
- COVID-19 test at the airport upon arrival (self-paid).
- Home quarantine for 7 days,
- Test again on the 8th day and if negative, self-monitoring for the next 7 days.
