General Directorate of Passports has started automatically extending the validity of Residence Permit (Iqama), Exit and Re-entry Visas till 31/03/2022.

The extension, which is issued by the finance minister, comes within the framework of the continued efforts by the government of Saudi Arabia to deal with the effects of the coronavirus pendamic, and within the precautionary and preventive measures. Guaranteeing the safety of citizens and expatriates to minimize economic and financial impacts.

Validity extension will be done electronically through an automated system in collaboration with the National Information Centre, without passport departments or the Kingdom's missions abroad.

Extension of the validity of Residence Permit (Iqama) as well as Exit and Return Visa for expatriates who are outside the Kingdom in countries from where entry is suspended due to the outbreak of COVID-19, 31/03/ Until 2022, except for those who have received a single dose of the COVID-19 vaccine inside the Kingdom before their departure.

To extend the validity of visit visas issued by the Ministry of External Affairs to 31/03/2022 for visitors from outside the Kingdom in countries from where entry is suspended due to the outbreak of COVID-19.
